The cute meerkats are particularly popular with all zoo visitors. Children and parents often spend hours in the enclosure of these sociable mammals, watching their hilarious activities. While one of the meerkats has made himself comfortable in front of the entrance to the cave, another observes attentively what is happening in the air. Standing on its hind legs and stretching its head upwards, it observes if there is danger from above. If an enemy approaches, the scout warns the group with a loud warning signal and everyone disappears into the burrow as fast as lightning. The playset consists of four meerkats and an earth mound and can be ideally combined with other zoo items.
