As the name suggests, the breed originally comes from Norway's rocky fjord landscape. With their short, strong legs, they are perfectly equipped for this terrain. The solid-built Fjord horse gelding examines his surroundings with an alert gaze. He pricks up his small, pointed ears and listens. Can he hear someone coming across the field? He tilts his head thoughtfully. No, it was probably nothing – just the wind rustled the leaves.
